The outside:inside festival

This weekend gone I think things have started to fall into an arty place.

Well I'm not blogging about gardening!!!

So that's positive, or though I must briefly mention that the Telly Tubbie hill that was known as my lawn has almost gone;-)

Crochet Duck goes remote control.

But I think she would have loved the character that hung around the Butter Market the Street Mate would have been very interesting.

Grafitti...............

This yarn was in a suit case that we where using for the Jelly/Outcast blanket knit in Public and the 1st yarn that I pick out of the basket still had its label attached and randomly it was called Graffiti.

Funny seeing that I was in public with my knitted graffiti. So a bit of a juxtaposition seeing graffiti is supposed to be a secret act. I'm just a rule breaker:-).

New Art Play

My Art space, It's coming together..... Almost chomping at the bit to get In and work but walking past the trees that are still half cut and the garden rubbish pile that's nearly http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowdonia is a little detracting, but by next week it should be launch party ready:-)

Look close, Cath Kidson (Thanks Soph) the tea towel is just to nice to use for it' intended purpose.

It's currently more land scape gardner, than Knitter.

It had tripled in size, Massively.........

It's always sad to take down greenery but the garden had so many that it was ridiculous.

I have also taken down three fir trees that where 12 ft or so and planted 10 cms apart from each other/extreme planting.......sometimes people don't really think ahead, a tree is a big issue. I love that my beautiful acer tree can now be seen as it was completely being strangled by its organic surrounding.

I need space;-)


The summer house an original feature and in need of some work but I needed to be able to see the house to fix it up, another job to my list.

Once I get the clearing I can then turn this into part of my work shop.

My art is back on the horizon.

My cotton wool teen is working, unfortunately still due to the economic state 100's of CV's and no nibbles, so it's paid by mummy employment.

He's my gardening assistant. And basically an excellent opportunity to teach some life skills that my dot.com teen had no idea about.
(He's learning, but its not easy) but its working.

Yes in the distance, you may just be able to see it over my rubbish pile that's fast approaching hill size.

It my work shop!

Yes work shop, its currently a shell but the weather proofing will soon commence and my art stack will be residing in my over sided shed/or wooden work shop.
