Black and White

The Naked Stitch.

Here are a collection of prints rubbing and paint pencil drawings, this is research for a black and white stitch collection that I am currently working on.

Paint above pencil below, I traced around the inside of some painted stiffened knitted stitches.

Bringing out the red, I wanted to high light a part and what better colour for black and white , RED a kind of focus point. Work in progress.

The image below if you look quickly it's almost rain on cobble stones,
(or am im just being to arty farty)
I think it's my favourite photo so far in this collection.
