Art revisited Title Hidden and Ghostly
The Basque that was minty in 2007 a pink background with a knitted Basque silhouette that has now been beaded, layered with tissue paper.
Then painted with acrylic and then poster paint with pva glue to this I added crushed crayon for texture then coated in places with nail varnish.
Then skirt part came about using a sponge and a knitted stencil, I changed the original picture/print because the Basque looked as if it was just floating in air, ghostly not really my desired effect but by adding the skirt it seems I created even more of a hunting effect;-)
Life.
Scroll down the previous recent posts and you will see how this art has evolved.
I like the way I have accentuated the beads and buttons that where trapped by the paper.
The love hearts supplied by my daughter. (forever girlie)
Below buttons with a Blue nail polish.
There are more than beads hidden beneath the tissue paper layer and that's another thing I really like about this piece is that the more you look the more you see.
The knitted print almost takes on the image of bones.
(Bones in an x ray photo)
Or am I seeing a little to much, oh so arty farty.
