This project idea that came to me out of the blue……

Literally I think my 1^st was the blue or yellow, very Swedish in colour was my early duckling inspired idea.

All out there tagging and getting coverage for such big cool projects. I wanted to think up something new…..

I brought a plastic duck for my dog (cheap chew toy) and then ……the thought occurred to me , knitting graffiti on water. I could knit the duck a jacket; drop it in the lake the duck floats and so graffiti tagging the water.

The Ducks project early stage; I had the idea and at the time was not quiet sure what to-do with it.

Crochet ducks for river knit graffiti. It still more commonly known as knit graffiti and really there is no knit in my project. As the ducks are all crocheted using all types of yarns, papers recycled materials, nothing new same stuff that been done before the difference that it gets crocheted in to duck jacket and they then get released on to the lake.

The lake in Stockholm so far but the project has no limits I think that the ducks will soon travel..

What’s stopping this being a world wide duck experiment, crocheted ducks floating every where?

The ducks even have their own face book page, I’m just not that good at face book yet but they seem to be happy sitting.

I have just had a major, five ducks release. So the short film is nearly reality as I have enough footage, It’s currently a WIP .
