I crochet-ed this on a hook that is used to pull hair through a cap for high lights (so tiny) I want to try stiffening the yarn in different ways to make sculpture. As a wire base means that the scale has to be huge. I researched how to stiffen and got a list to work through testing, this was part pva part water. It made the yarn loose colour as it gave it a white film covering! But it did make it very stiff. So its going to be a trial and error. Wax I have already used and that was messy, hot and again it left a white film as i used white tea lights.
Here is the final part. I have attached with thread, cotton. I like the end result it really reminds me of something adult, naughty, pvc. Pam Anderson, barbed wire type out fit. It looks like fabric as much as it dose paper.
Attached together roughly with magic tape. The individual piece where in a recycled paper little photo album I brought from a charity shop in the UK at 20p so cheap art. The pages where held together with a hole punched and string.
Henna- on paper, 1 image at different angles. It remind me of an earlier piece of work, that shared the name.
Its on quality paper, size 65cm by 55cm. Perfect for a mount and frame.
Their seems to be a lot going on colour wise as I started with a rainbow back ground, red, pink, yellow and green and I used white to lighten the colours. Then added some white and black spray.
This has is done on paper and not canvas and again it's a practice piece. The paper is Swedish and top quality and recommended for use with acyclic paints.
This is one picture but with different parts photographed.
Size 65cm and 50cm The name is not for religious reasons, it just reminded me of Indian, Eastern style of sari fabric.
Karma- is experimental with colours I am still trying different ranges of colours for the back ground. This is on paper and it's paint ,spray and knitting all done in the usual way. Green's have such a good karma about them.
